Be nice, don't scrape our API, and don't sue us because the price on the pump was different to the app (it happens — blame the servo).

1. Using the service

Refuelr provides a fuel price comparison service for personal and commercial use. By accessing or using Refuelr you agree to these terms. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Refuelr for its intended purpose. This licence does not include the right to resell or commercialise any part of the service, scrape or systematically extract data from the website or API without a written commercial agreement, reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the platform, or use the service in any way that interferes with its normal operation or places undue load on our infrastructure.

2. Accuracy of prices

Fuel prices on Refuelr are sourced from official state and territory government data feeds and are refreshed approximately every 30 minutes. Prices are provided for informational purposes only. The price displayed may differ from the price at the pump at the time you arrive at a station — this can occur because prices changed after our last refresh, the station submitted incorrect data to the government feed, or the station is running a special that is not reported to the government feed.

Refuelr makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price information. We are not responsible for any loss or expense incurred as a result of acting on displayed prices. Always verify the price at the pump before fuelling.

3. Prohibited uses

You must not use Refuelr to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems; use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the service at a rate that exceeds normal human usage; impersonate another person or entity; or violate any applicable Australian or international law.

Commercial use of Refuelr data — including but not limited to reselling price data, building competing products, or incorporating our data into third-party services — requires a separate written commercial licence. To enquire about commercial data access, contact us at api@refuelr.au.

4. Accounts and data

You may delete your account at any time from your settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data (profile, alert settings, garage vehicles, and fill-up logs) will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics derived from your activity may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked back to you.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are inactive for more than 24 consecutive months, or are associated with fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. In non-urgent cases we will give you at least 14 days notice before termination and the opportunity to export your data.

These terms were last updated on 15 April 2026. We may update them from time to time. Continued use of Refuelr after a change to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance.
